Potato curry with Curry Masala Blend


Curry Masala Blend is our 80-year-old family recipe of spice blend. When added to any kind for curry while cooking enhances the flavor of the vegetables and/ or meat. Masala Blend is made in a certified kitchen.

 Potato Curry with Curry Masala Blend

(For two)

 

Ingredients

2 medium or 1 large potato (this can be substituted with any vegetables or meat)

2 medium or 1 large tomato

1 medium onion

1 cup water

1 Tsp oil

Cilantro leaves (finely chopped- optional)

1 tsp Curry Masala Blend

Salt – Curry Masala Blend has salt in it. Add more if needed.

 

step by step recipe

Boil the potatoes. Let them cool, then peel off the skin. Dice them in pieces.

Dice the tomato and onion separately (finely chopped or small pieces)

Heat the oil and add chopped onion.

Sautee the onion until it turns golden brown, add tomatoes. Let it cook for 2 minutes.

Add 1 tsp of Curry Masala Blend. Mix it all.

Add 1 cup of water to it. Let it boil. (prepping the sauce)

Add the boiled potatoes and let it simmer for 5- 8 minutes, until it all blends in together. Curry starts to thicken.

Just before serving add cilantro on top as garnish (cilantro is optional).

Enjoy with bread, naan, roti, rice, and pita chips.
