Green Peas Rice with Garam Masala Blend
Garam Masala Blend is an all-time favorite which can be added to any dish in all types of cuisine. It can be used a rub too. It not only adds heat to the dish but also adds many flavors.
Green Peas Rice with Garam Masala Blend
(For two)
Ingredients
½ cup frozen green peas
1 cup rice (any kind) wash it multiple times until the water starts to look clearer.
2 cups water
1 tsp melted ghee or butter (optional)
¼ tsp of Garam Masala Blend
Salt - add as needed.
step by step recipe
Add the washed rice and water in a pan or cookware. Add salt if desired.
When the water starts to boil, turn down the flame on medium.
Add the peas and ¼ tsp of garam masala blend.
Stir everything once and let it cook on low flame.
All the water evaporates. Check the rice by pressing if it is soft and cooked.
Add melted ghee or butter on top and gently stir the cooked rice. (optional)
Enjoy with curry, stir fry veggies, chana or beans.
Garam Masala can be added to any sauce, pasta, curry for added flavor
